High Temperature Tadpole Gasket Tapes

Breton High Tempature NON_ASBESTOS Tadpole Gasket Tapes are engineered to meet the exacting requirements of high temperature, low pressure service. Tadpoles are constructed of treated cover materials wrapped over a variety of resilient core materials forming a "bulb" and "tail" construction.
Tadpoles are ideally suited for sealing flanges with limited bolt force, warped or uneven mating surfaces, or joints where flat tapes or packings are not suitable.

Construction: Tadpole Tape is 100% high temperature fiberglass. Recommended for services to 1000 degrees Fareinheight. This style can be substituted for all grades of asabestos.

Tadpole Gasket Cover Material

Style #60 cover material is constructed of specially treated tightly woven abrasion-resistant fiberglass fabric.

Core:

Style:#786AG
Tightly twisted, resilient, fiberglass rope with good recovery characteristics.

Thread:

Treated fiberglass thread is sewn closely to the core. A second row fiberglass thread can be sewn parallel to the edge of the tail.

Sizes:

Bulb Diameter:1/4" and up
Tail Widths: Dependent on ratio of bulb to required width. All cover material furnished with non-ravelling selvage edges.
Lengths: Standard lengths are 100 ft. Special lengths as required within manufacturing and packaging limitations.
